Dr. Ruth Hayhoe, a renowned Canadian expert on Chinese education and a professor of comparative education, currently on secondment to the Canadian Embassy in Beijing, has agreed to talk about the basic parameters of China's contemporary educational system, while at the same time sharing insights she has gained through her many years of research in China and abroad on aspects of Chinese-Western cultural interaction.
