A household word in many parts of Asia, Feng Shui is a cross between an art and a science. It has ancient origins dating back thousands of years to the beginning of Chinese civilization. Nowadays, it has a profound influence on business in Asia. Mr. Chen Zengbi, a retired professor of the Central Academy of Technology and Art, will speak on the theoretical and historical background of this old Chinese practice. Using slides, Professor Chen will also talk about the impact of Feng Shui on traditional Chinese architecture and its practical applications for modern life.
