Outing: Three Imperial Gardens

The Chinese garden has been created over the centuries with the consummate skill of Chinese designers. With a limited amount of space they have succeeded in creating a seemingly limitless number of vistas that not only imitate nature in miniature, but also surpass it.

An expert of the imperial gardens at the Gugong will give us a lecture about this art, its aesthetic conception, specific features and characteristics, and will lead us through Yuhua garden, Qianlong's garden and Ciming garden. These last two will be opened especially for us.
