Tour: Exhibition of Imperial Scrolls

Kosima Weber Liu

Every year a selection of scrolls from the collection of the palace museum is exhibited. These paintings are rarely made available for public viewing, and represent works by some of the finest Chinese artists. Unfortunately, information at the exhibition concerning the paintings and the artists is limited. To overcome this handicap, and to add to our knowledge of Chinese art, Kosima Weber Liu, a long time student of Chinese art, has kindly offered to be our guide and explain to us the significance of the artists and their work.
